What is Love... and I'm late

Hey All before I begin.... Cop this if you haven't already.
It's a straight Hip Hop banger! Speaking of Straight, I heard Beanie's getting at Kanye's sexuality. Okay...MAD LATE BRO!

South Park is on their Job!!!

FISHSTICKS!!!

Hey everyone I apologize for totally neglecting this site and depriving you of my food reviews.
First off, the album's (NO ROOM FOR DESSERT) been out and I've been working hard to get things moving the right way.
But with this process, I've been getting around and if you already follow me on Facebook and Twitter you've enjoyed my exploits. Here's a wrap up of this summer's Great Eats

The Silver Diner switched up their menu to only serve food from local farmers and no hormone meat. So the blue plate specials are out but the food is still great. If You are a local around the DMV or just happen to be leaving Philly into Jersey through Cherry Hill, you'll be able to find a Silver Diner. I recently had their Salmon slider with the citrus side salad, it was sooo great, i couldn't wait and take a picture. Here you have my previous meal there, the turkey Dish. Really Tasty and not too salty. Their Veggie Chili is a classic!
I've been eating it since my High School Days. Now the foods all farm fresh so it's superb!

I had the pleasure of trying out this Hipster and Tourist Dive in my old hood, the Lower East Side, The Meatball Shop. I got the Pork ones because i figured everyone may have been too righteous to try them. They were great and had quite a pleasant kick. I had one of their specialty lemonades. Wowzers. it switches up everyday i think. I think mine was an apple cider Iced Tea. I went to eat their with my homegirl Likwuid. She had the Lamb balls that day. They were awesome. She also had a cucumber Iced Tea which was peculiar but very refreshing.

This one down here is from Ella's in the Lower East Side. You're looking at Veggie Lasagna and Asparagus and Onion Rings. The sides were better than the lasagna. The lasagna was cool. The service was snooty. The cashier was a herb.
This BRGR below is from BRGR. The grass fed beef was clean tasting. The burger was too small for my buck but those Onion Rings were a winner!
I got to try some Columbian Food in New Jersey, Jersey City. It was quite a feat. I shared it with ben Boogz's girlfriend. Lots of salty meat that I could do without as a grown man. The avocado was good.
Though my album is named NO ROOM FOR DESSERT, it doesn't mean that it refers to my very own stomach capacity. I tried this $4 wonder at Lavain's Bakery, downstairs on 73rd and Columbus in Manhattan.

Below is something you can only get if you're related to me.
Because my mother made it.
Eggplant Parm!!! Nuff Said.
L.E.S.!!!

This next number is called the Smoke Joint in Fort Greene in Brooklyn. I went with Janelle Renee. She took me out for my birthday this summer.
She is also on our album NO ROOM FOR DESSERT

We had the pulled pork and chopped beef. The Pork was a North Carolina Descent. All the meats were flavorable and the beef had quite a tasty bark! (Somebody donate some Atenolol please). The sides were tasty as well. Spicy fries, bbq beans, and Mac & Cheese. And since she's half Austrian she had to add the beer to quench her Singing Palate (not pictured).
below is the Phenomenon known as the International Food House on Dyckman and Bway in upper Manhattan. Dominican Food in an all you can eat buffet that's open 24/7. booyah
My AOK Clan knows bout this.
2 Hours on line for Pizza at Grimaldi's left me with a fresh taste of clean Mozzarella and Basil.
The sausage was good too with that anise enhanced licorice esque flavor. The prices for a pie are very reasonable and if you are like me, you can devour a whole one. Grimaldi's is a 2 Hour wait. So Be prepared. It's worth about an hour wait. It's worth more than waiting for a roller coaster though. This one's between Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights, close to the East River.

sooooo are you full yet????

BAck For Seconds.. finally up on my blog with food

Speaking of seconds here's something delectable I came across with my wife....

Chipotle' braised Beef Short Rib with Parmesan Grits and Glazed Carrots.
This was all part of the spectacular event called Dine In Brooklyn.
Margie and I went to Bread & Butter on Henry Street by Cranberry Street in Brooklyn Heights.
I got this with an arugula salad with Watermelon Radish, goat cheese, sliced apples, and candied walnuts.... pretty standard, no pic needed. it was really refreshing though.

This is what Margie had! Seared Catfish with Mushroom Risotto and a special wine based Tomato Sauce.
The Ribs of course were boneless and very tender. They broke apart upon touching them with the fork. The chipotle Kick complemented the creamy parmesan grits. The carrots were cool. They went well with the beef like they would in a beef stew, yet they weren't so glazed.
I tried my wife's catfish. it wasn't gummy or undercooked. The searing left the top with a nice crunch. The mushroom risotto made for an interesting texture of mushy and plump.
They gave you this with dessert as well for $25.
For Dessert we both enjoyed the Pecan, Cinnamon, and caramel baked apple!!! with whipped cream on the side. Great. I had a cappuccino to wash it down.

if you get a chance this week... take the lady or good friend out for the Dine In Brooklyn Experience before it ends this week at Bread & Butter. For more info peep the link I left you under the apples. If you miss Dine in Brooklyn, don't worry the prices are reasonable and the menu is awesome. Margie tried their fried chicken and the portions were huge and the taste travelled all the way into the bone. No Dry meat. Their fries are very thin but seasoned well, almost like onion rings on those awful Burger King Burgers. Speaking of Burgers.. they have an awesome one there. The waiter told me they grind the steak there so don't be afraid to get it medium because it come from one cow. I saw the burger it was huge. I'm gong Back for Seconds and I'm getting that next. See YOU THIN!!!
